Introduction
After 12 years in tech, I'm returning to real estate - this time as an investor instead of a developer. I recently bought Cash Flow 101, love the game and want to meet like minded people.
What do you do professionally?
I'm getting back into real estate as an investor after being in tech for about 12 years. I'm also doing some iPhone apps on the side so I don't forget how to code.
Anything else you think we should know about you?..
I love hiking in the hill country! I never get tired of the beautiful views and wildlife. I have two wonderful girls in my life -- my wife and my step-daughter.
What type investing do you do?
Primarily single family homes and small multifamily; but, will look at any type of property. I'll also look at raw land (50-100 ac. suburban), although I don't contemplate doing any development in the near term.
Have you invested in Real Estate before? If so tell us a little about it.
I was a land developer in the earlyy 80's through the mid 90's. I saw real estate at its best and worst. My family is getting into investing now -- my brother and father in Dallas, and me in Austin.
What do you want to get out of this group?
